Personalised Program

WorkSafe Eyewear offers two options for the supply of prescription safety eyewear:

1. Visit your local WorkSafe Eyewear Optometrists (Recommended); OR

2. At your place of work – using our on-site ‘Frame Kit.’ WSE will provide you with a ‘Frame Display Kit’. Your HSE manager selects a suitable frame for each worker who requires prescription safety glasses. The HSE manager then sends the frame details along with the employee’s prescription to Worksafe Eyewear.

Whether you are a large or small company or an individual we aim to provide a safety eyewear program to suit your needs.

Fitting Process

WorkSafe Eyewear Make up the Glasses

Virtually all WSE safety eyewear are made up in our Sydney based optical laboratory.

Our laboratory maintains strict quality control processes and is SAI Global certified to make prescription safety glasses.   After receiving and order we will make up the safety eyewear to meet speciation’s obtained from the initial fitting. Then Lenses are then checked to ensure compliance with AS/NZ1337.6 AS/NZ 1336 (Safety frame & Lens standards) and AS1228.1 (Optical quality standard).

Your safety specs are checked again before having the lenses engraved with relevant safety markings

Each set of completed safety glasses are placed into a case and dispatched back to the WSE Optometrist or company HSE Supervisor along with compliance documentation.
